Young Judea Zionist Youth Movement - A Club for Jewish Children

Age Levels:
  • Ofarim: (“Deer” in Hebrew) 3rd - 5th graders
  • Tsofim: (“Scouts” in Hebrew) 6th - 8th graders
  • Bogrim: (“Elders” in Hebrew) 9th -12th graders
Cost:
$30 per year, June 1st to May 31st
Purpose:

To provide Jewish children an opportunity to explore and develop pride in their Jewishness and identify with Zionism.

Ideology:
  • Judaism through instilling a love of Jewish traditions and rituals.
  • Jewish Identity through education in Jewish heritage, history and current events.
  • Zionism through developing a relationship with Israel.
Year Round Programs:

Educational and social activities designed to develop their Jewish identity while having fun with other children.

Summer Camping Programs:
  • Young Judea camps for children ages 8-13. Six regional campsites across the country.
  • Camp Tel Yehudah for high school aged children. Located in Barryville, NY on the Delaware River.
Both Young Judea camps and Tel Yehudah camp offer children traditional camp activities while giving them opportunities to strengthen their faith.
Israel Programs:

Opportunities for teens and young adults to travel to and learn about Israel through personal experience.
