Little League World Series -- Day 2 Results, Day 3 Schedule

I haven't turned on any of the games yet. Have you? I'm going to turn it on today and see how they're doing. I'm thrilled with the idea of young boys from all around the globe gathering to play what is possibly the world's greatest game. Their skills must be pretty incredible.

As of Day 2, all the teams have played their first game, and a couple have played their second. Here are the results from Day 2:

• Transatlantic, 5 - Canada, 13
• Mexico, 11 - EMEA, 1
• Mid-Atlantic, 6 - West, 16
• Midwest, 0 - Southwest, 6
• Great Lakes, 10 - Southeast, 2

And the schedule for Day 3 (19 August, 2007):

• West vs. Southwest at noon. Broadcast on ESPN2.
• New England vs. Northwest at 3:30pm. Broadcast on ABC
• EMEA vs. Asia-Pacific at at 4pm. Broadcast on ESPN2.
• Caribbean vs. Transatlantic at 7pm. Broadcast online at ESPN360.com and on tape delay at noon 8/20 on ESPN2.
• Midwest vs. Mid-Atlantic at 8pm. Broadcast on ESPN2.
