In Allouez, Wisconsin, work continues on a new Miracle League Field where about a hundred children are signed up to play summer ball. Fund raising and donations provided the $250,000 that makes this new ball field possible.
The Allouez Optimists Resch Miracle Field will have a rubberized surface to protect the children from impacts that could cause injury. The field will be fully handicap accessible. These are just some of the many modifications that makes it possible for children with disabilities to play baseball safely and fairly.
