Can you believe this? I am simply appalled.
Miracle League is a special baseball league for challenged children. Their fields and facilities are specially designed to meet their needs and allow them to play baseball safely.
With the prices of copper rising, a thief decided it would be a nice idea to take some of the copper tubing from the restrooms in an Austin, TX Miracle League ball field.
Worse yet, the theft makes the restrooms unusable, just in time for the field's grand opening.
The good news is the field will open on time and the children will play ball.
